Easter Is Just Around the Corner

Can you believe that Easter is just a little over a month away.   We are in the process of planning our yearly Easter Egg hunt and party for the kids.   We will have lots of food, fun and fellowship for all ages.

Preparing for "2011"

Our goal for this new year is to further the Kingdom of God... In preparation, we are seeking corporate sponsorship and fund raising to better benefit the families we are now serving. Mercy Heart is asking for all of your prayers in the effort. We are looking forward to an amazing Easter Extravaganza, a WOW Summer Blow-out,  Back to School Bash, and an even larger Angel Tree Program in 2011.

 From Our Heart:

Kim and I have been were the families we serve are now. I served 5 years and left Kim to hold our world together. She was pregnant at the time of my incarceration with our 3rd child. Left to raise 3 children she understands the struggles that these families face each day. I on the other hand can relate to the helplessness of a parent trying to be a parent from inside prison wall.

This ministry is so much apart of our lives including our children. They to can relate to the hurts, loneliness, and confusion of a child that has a parent in prison. Many times only a child can help a child.
